Blippi's Job Show

I had the amazing opportunity to be one of the environment artists for the new Blippi's Job Show on Netflix. I was responsible for creation of all the foliage in the environment, from creation in Speedtree, materials, textures and animation. I also created multiple environment set pieces and props.

For this environment I worked mainly on foliage creation in speedtree and PCG systems to generate the background forests and foreground grass. I used the splines to specify the specific PCG areas along with tags and exclusion volumes.

I also worked on asset creation, making the piano bridge, blippis bike and the paint wall event area.

The ball pit was also a PCG asset.

To make sure the grass edges were clean, I used a distance node in unreal PCGs to specify points along the edges of the grass areas, and spawned more grass at a smaller size to keep the edges clean.
