For this project I was responsible for all of the 3D foliage used in the scene as well as creating the PCG system used to scatter the foliage. I created a system that allowed us to use vertex painting on the 3D landscape meshes that were created using Gaea. Within each of the vertex color 'biomes' I wanted to have control over grouping and density, so I used various splat maps and PCG nodes to control density per vertex color 'biome' and within the individual plant groupings.
