Forest Road was a demo project I worked on as part of the Virtual Art Department. The objective was to create a realistic driving plate for use in vehicle commercials. I was responsible for the creation of most of the foliage in Speedtree as well as the creation of the PCG system to scatter and organize the meshes. I also helped with prop creation, scene layout, organization, optimization, materials and textures.
Each plant and tree made for this environment uses Opaque material, and the leaves are fully modeled to reduce overdraw and the performance hit from masked materials in Unreal Engine.
